The Japan Java User Group (JJUG) hosts the JJUG CCC conferences in spring and autumn. They are Japan’s largest Java community events. JJUG CCC Spring 2021 is an online conference.
I’m honored to give a session there on “How Should Java Developers Build Front-Ends for Web, Mobile & Desktop Today?” on Sunday, May 23, 2021. I will look at various frameworks from a Java developer’s perspective and suggest which one to use in three common scenarios.

The number of developer ads is down in 2023 by about 25%. Spring Boot is back to 500% of Jakarta EE job ads, while Quarkus and Micronaut rose again after a four-month decline. The monthly number of Stack Overflow questions is down 42% since ChatGPT appeared.
