JHipster 6.1.1 & 6.1.2: Better fake data and bug fixes

JHipster portrait #2

JHipster 6.1.1: Better fake data and bug fixes

The JHipster team released the minor version 6.1.1 on June 21, 2019. Ten days after the last release, we get an emergency fix for a broken command line, an upgrade to Spring 2.1.6 and better fake data. Fake data (still can’t get used to the name!) was a new feature in JHipster 6.0 — and I found two bugs in it, too.

JHipster 6.1.2: Emergency fix

The JHipster team released the emergency fix 6.1.2 on June 23, 2019, to address a bug in the generated Liquibase code.

Github has the 4 closed tickets and merged pull requests for this release.

Java Tech Popularity Index Q1/2024:
Developer job ads down 32% year over year, Stack Overflow questions dropped 55% since ChatGPT. I now recommend IntelliJ Community Edition because many AI code assistants don't run in Eclipse. Job ads for Quarkus hit an all-time high.
