JHipster 6.10.2 & 6.10.3: Security Patches & Bug Fixes
JHipster 6.10.2: Security Patches & Bug Fixes, but Broken
The JHipster team released the minor version 6.10.2 on September 20, 2020. The release has security patches & bug fixes. It also includes Entando as a new Gold Sponsor.
This release was broken, so don’t use it! That’s why there are no release notes, either.
JHipster 6.10.3: Fixed 6.10.2
The JHipster team published the
patch release 6.10.3 on the same day as 6.10.2 — September 20, 2020. It fixes the prettier-java
dependency that broke 6.10.2. Unless you need those patches & fixes, you’re better off waiting for JHipster 7.0. My conference report on JHipster Code 2020 has the details on 7.0.
Github has the 6 merged pull requests for this release.
Java Tech Popularity Index Q1/2024:
Developer job ads down 32% year over year, Stack Overflow questions dropped 55% since ChatGPT. I now recommend IntelliJ Community Edition because many AI code assistants don't run in Eclipse. Job ads for Quarkus hit an all-time high.
